I recently realized that I do not have the night outfits appropriate for a 20 something with a boyfriend.
Since I started dating my boyfriend, when we go out..I've been a tad low key. I usually stick to a cute jean, cute top and flats or heels.
I live on the same block as this pretty popular bar and on Saturday night I see girls in their cute mini dresses. One night I looked at them while walking home and thought, "I want to be sexy."
So the next night when my boyfriend and I got ready to go out, I grabbed one of my go to Vegas dresses. When I came downstairs his reaction was, "Where are we going?"
Then, when we got to the bar, I felt the eyes of other men and started to feel uncomfortable.
I still danced the night away and had a great time, but when I got home I realized that dress needed to be retired (at least until my next Vegas trip).
Do you guys notice a difference in how you dress when you're single and when you're in a relationship.
I still want to look sexy, but I need to find some new dresses that use a few more inches of material.
I have this revelation, then I watch Real Housewives of NYC and these 40 something women wear dresses as short as mine!
Now I'm confused...
Whether single or booed up, subtle and seductive sexy is always more tasteful and sexy than blatant in yo face sexy. Unless, you’re in Vegas.
ReplyDeleteHmmm.... interesting.
ReplyDeleteI think you're right in that, now that you're "taken" (wink) you should dress a little differently.
ReplyDeleteYour boyfriend should be the one to see a little more of you then everyday guys you see around town. Your boyfriend is special, right? :) So, save a little something that is just for him.
That's just my own opinion though and everyone should do what they feel is best.
