I'm done with the hug and the handshake. I'm all about greeting people with a kiss on each cheek. I haven't started yet. But I've decided that's the new me. It looks so chic when people do it.
But I'm just having some trouble getting started.
What do you 20-somethings use as a greeting? Do you find the kiss, kiss too personal...or too germy perhaps?

ReplyDeletei enjoy giving kisses. cheek to cheek action with an air kiss works well too. i think its easier than giving a full blown hug sometimes. especially if you are standing and you are greeting someone that is sitting down, its just easier to kiss or air kiss. However, a good embrace never gets old. i dont see one form of greeting more chic than another. different situations call for different forms of greeting.
ReplyDeleteThe kiss kiss works quite well in Europe and parts of South America but Americans need their personal space. I tend to stick with what's most comfortable for those being greeted.
